Jesslyn Amelia, Sp.D.V.E, a board-certified dermatologist registered with Indonesia's Ministry of Health — the device and the protocol are chosen after the diagnosis, not before it.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. A dermatologist is trained to recognise when a "skin problem" is something a laser cannot fix — a drug reaction, a hormonal condition, a diagnosis that needs a referral elsewhere — before any energy or injectable treatment is applied over it.
